FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Who pays for the services you offer?

If you are not at fault for the accident, you or your insurance company does not pay any cost that you incur, i.e. repairing your vehicle or obtaining a replacement car. This is recovered directly from the third party’s insurance company.

How soon will I get my replacement vehicle?

We aim to give you a replacement vehicle within 24 hours of accepting the claim.

Will making a claim affect my insurance premium?

No, as we will not be utilising the facilities from your own insurers in making a claim, so your premium will not be affected. However, you do have a duty to report it to them for notification purposes only – we can assist you in doing this, as well.

Will my ‘No Claims Bonus’ be affected?

No, your insurance premium will not be affected, therefore your ‘no claims bonus (NCB)’ will remain the same.

How long will the claim take to settle?

On an average, our aim is to settle a claim between 4-6 months fully. However, every case is different and if liability is disputed or argued it can take longer to resolve via the process of Litigation.

I am a busy person. Who does the paperwork?

Once we have all the initial details and our partnered solicitors have accepted the case we will deal with everything on your behalf.

Can I make a claim if I am at fault?

Yes, even if you are deemed to be at fault we can still look into recovering your vehicle into our secure storage depot and if any of your passengers are injured, they can claim for personal injury compensation as well as other losses.

What is No Win No Fee?

If we are not successful in winning your case, whatever the reason maybe, we will never charge you a penny. This is a Castle Accident Management guarantee.

Why should I claim through your firm and not directly with my insurance company?

At Castle Accident Management we aim to make it as hassle-free as possible for all our customers. We understand and appreciate that after an unfortunate accident you do not want to be dealing with 3-4 different companies. Insurance companies tend to outsource their work to different companies. At Castle Accident Management we deal with everything in-house so you are only providing information once and not explaining yourself 3-4 times to different companies. You will also have a dedicated file handler who will know everything about your claim and because we use top of the range software which enables us to deal with your case swiftly and efficiently, making it hassle-free all the way. With insurance companies you will be charged an excess when you repair your vehicle – with us there is no excess to pay.

I have been contacted by the third party insurance companies’ intervention team who are offering their services for free – what should I do?

We strongly recommend not to use the third party intervention team. They contact you so that their losses can be minimal and they may under value your claim and settle for less as they have a financial interest in your claim. In other words, it is a conflict of interest to go with the third party insurance company. At Castle Accident Management, we will always work in favour of you and give you the right amount of compensation that you deserve.

I had an accident 6 months ago. Can I still make a claim?

Yes, the UK law states that you are entitled to make a claim for compensation up to 3 years from the date of accident; therefore, do not hesitate to make a claim and give us a call for further information.

I don’t intend to make a claim for Personal Injury. Can you still deal with the vehicle repairs and replacement vehicle?

Yes, we can deal with the claim as normal by dealing with the vehicle damage claim and providing you with a replacement vehicle without you having to make a personal injury claim.

Can I get advice and have a think about it, if I want to make a claim? Will it cost me anything?

We provide free advice to all our clients and potential clients. This service is absolutely free of charge with no obligation and this does not affect your statutory rights.
